Irene is the fourth born of five children. Her mother is a maid and her father works in construction. Their income is inconsistent so without help from MCF, she would not be able to attend school. Irene enjoys playing with friends and participating in soccer. She is neat and tidy. She wants to become an English teacher.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
