Ilya Mbalazi
Ilya is the eldest of three children born out of wedlock. They live with their mother and grandmother. Her mother washes clothes and her grandmother collects plastic to resale for recycling. They are not always able to earn enough for their daily meals. Ilya loves going to Sunday school and enjoys memorizing Bible verses. She wants to be a doctor.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
