Wakesho is the youngest of two. Her parents are not able to earn enough doing casual work to meet the needs of their family. Wakesho had stopped going to school because they could not pay the fees. At MCF, she can go to school free of charge and has access to nutritious meals and healthcare. She loves to dance and wants to be a teacher.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
