Shany is the youngest of three children. She has been living with her grandmother since her mother abandoned them. They have never met their father. The grandmother sells firewood for a living but does not earn enough for their school fees and other basic needs. MCF has given them care, protection, and provision. Shany loves art and drawing. She wants to be a doctor.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
