Shani is the first of two children and, being the oldest, is responsible for many chores at home. Her parents do not earn enough to send her to school so MCF stepped in to help. She is very outgoing and playful. She loves running around with her new friends at school, singing, and dancing. She wants to become a chef.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
