Christine's father abandoned his family and her single mother was not able to provide for them with her meager wages earned by working at a sisal plant farm. Christine is grateful for the opportunities provided to her by MCF, where she can pursue her dreams despite the economic challenges of her family.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
