Irene is the last of seven children. Her parents are both casual workers who strive to make ends meet. Unfortunately, their meager earnings are not enough to cater to the needs of their big family. She is a shy girl who loves spending time with her peers. Irene enjoys skipping rope and playing soccer and would like to become a nurse when she grows up.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
