Defence Nyamawi
Defence has one brother and two sisters and she is the last in birth order. Her parents separated and her mother in a bid to provide for them took up a job as a live in housemaid. They were thus left under the care of their maternal grandmother. The little the mother makes she sends to help cater to their needs but unfortunately it is often not sufficient. Defence is a kind and humble girl. She likes skipping rope and wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
