Khamisi’s mother is the sole breadwinner of the family since his parents separated in 2017. She works odd jobs to provide for her family of six children, but her income is not dependable and the responsibility of providing for her family weighs heavily upon her. Khamisi looks up to his teachers and wants to become a teacher himself in the future.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
