Evan is the seventh of eight children in his family. Due to lack of school fees and not enough food, Evan was on the verge of dropping out of school, like some of his siblings, when MCF rescued him. He is above average academically, always cheerful and enjoys swimming.

Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF Vipingo secondary school serves approximately 100 students.
