Jeniffer comes from a large family of seven siblings. The family had to learn to survive on the bare minimum as their parents were casual laborers who could not earn enough to support their family. Jeniffer is hardworking and focused on helping her family out of poverty. She enjoys playing netball and hopes to become a teacher when she grows up.

Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF Vipingo secondary school serves approximately 100 students.
