Laurence Kai Chandugu
Laurence is the second of three children. His father, the sole bread winner of the family, works as a casual matatu driver. He goes to the bus stops daily with the hope of getting a trip or two so as to take home some upkeep money. This job is not dependable and often the family lacks access to basic needs. Laurence likes to play soccer and hopes to become a teacher when he grows up.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
