Khamisi’s mother is the sole breadwinner of the family since she divorced his father. She works odd jobs to provide for her family of six children but the responsibility weighs on her as her income is not dependable. Khamisi looks up to his teachers and wants to become a teacher himself in the future.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
