Evans Kahindi Karisa
Evans comes from a poor family. His father is a shopkeeper while his mother is a housewife. The income his father brings home is not enough to cater for their basic needs hence Evans was rescued to MCF Vipingo to access education and provision. He enjoys playing soccer and would like to become a pilot when he grows up.

Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF Vipingo secondary school serves approximately 100 students.
