Mary Moraa Otuke
Course of Study: Entrepreneurial Agriculture; School: Mully College; Mary’s mother was chased away from their home by her uncle because she gave birth out of wedlock. Her mother then had to work casual jobs to support them. They often lacked basic needs as the mother's income was insufficient to provide for her family. Mary came to MCF in 2017 for the opportunity for a better life. For fun, she enjoys singing.
Mary's Unmet Needs
The results of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national exam written by all Form 4 (Grade 12) students determine their eligibility for college or university. Mully students who score C- and above on the KCSE exam are eligible to join Mully College for three-year diploma programs that include courses such as Education, Business Management, and Information Technology. These students are in need of sponsors to help them become all that God has destined them to be and to become positive change-makers in their communities, country and the world.
